Admission Criteria

Eligibility

For admission to the Programmes offered by UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) Online, candidates must meet certain educational requirements. It is necessary for applicants to have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, regardless of their chosen field of study. To fulfill the eligibility criteria, candidates from reserved categories should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% marks, while the minimum requirement for general category candidates is 50% aggregate marks. These criteria are established to ensure that prospective students possess the required educational background and proficiency to excel in the Programmes offered by UPES Online.

For International Participants:

UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) Online extends a warm welcome to international students, including individuals who are not Indian citizens, to apply for their Online MBA Degree programme. However, applicants with foreign education must fulfill an important requirement for applying to any university in India. They are required to provide a graduation degree certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities. International students encompass individuals holding NRE (Non-Residential External) or PIO (Person of Indian Origin) status, residing outside India, as well as those who are not Indian citizens. These students are eligible to pursue online degree programmes at UPES Online, although they are subject to an international fee structure for their respective degrees. As part of the application process, international students may be requested to submit additional documents such as a CV, proof of address, valid visa, PR (Permanent Resident) card, and a copy of their passport.
